Manti Pageant!

So this past weekend my ward went to Manti to see the Mormon Miracle Pageant! It was so fun! Kim, my roommate, graciously drove us and we went down US-89 for most of the way and it was absolutely gorgeous! The mountains were so green and luscious. Everyone in the car agreed that it would be such a quaint place to live (and then we realized that there wasn't a grocery store nor a church building anywhere near the boonies of Ephraim).

We made it there and had dinner with the ward and anxiously anticipated the pageant. The temple is so beautiful! When I grow up, I definitely want to go inside to do a session. The pageant was fun, but it got really cold. Kim and I had not had much sleep for the past couple of nights so we were almost falling asleep. It was fun. The scene of destruction was really cool--lots of fire, lights, and cool effects. After it was done, (and it was bitterly cold) we went back to the car only to wait for about an hour to get out of there. We had fun because we were all tired and on a lack of sleep :)
