Pioneer College Students sang as they walked and walked and walked...

Happy Pioneer Day! We decided a couple of days before the long weekend that we wanted to go on a hike. Sarah suggested that we hike Y Mountain! So, as a tribute to our pioneer ancestors, we decided to wake up early on pioneer day and climb to the summit! The crew: Janmichael, Ry-ry Coxy, The lovely Sarah Adams, Jason, Kimbo, and yours truly. Departure time: approximately 7:07 am. Arrival at the summit: approximately 10:50 a.m. (you do the math with how long it took us to get there!) But, when you see how pretty it was, you will realize that we are not crazy for taking it slow--it was so gorgeous! We have had a lot of rain this spring, so we were lucky enough to have it be so green and leafy and flowery :)

Beautiful meadows, flowers, and views. All in all, it was absolutely fabulous! Well worth the time, I encourage all to go on this amazing hike (soon, because it is so green right now!)
